One of the first prototypes I ever got to a close to complete state, Miner’s Strike is a 2.5D arena shooter in which the player controls a spaceship using thrust movement. The aim of the game is to direct asteroids towards an enemy mothership before it reaches the Earth.

This was mainly to push myself on more complicated mechanics involving physics based gameplay and a complete game loop. The core of the gameplay is very physics focused, something I'd only really dabbled in before; this project gave me the opportunity to improve my skills and understanding siginificantly.
